Why Players Stay Up Too Late

Strategy that fits

Build Immortal Chains

Connect your Elixir across the grid and those cells become permanently yours. Building that chain is everything.

🎯

Offense Is Defense

Extending aggressively leaves you exposed. Playing safe hands the board to your opponent. Find the edge.

Origin + Strategy

Designed for players who think.

Elixir was built from a simple question: what if a territory game rewarded both long-term planning and split-second adaptation? The result is a game where a commanding lead can evaporate in one turn — and every position contains a hidden comeback.

The roulette isn't a gimmick. It's the heart of the game. It forces you to think about what you'd do in any scenario, not just the ideal one. The best players don't just react to what the roulette gives them — they build board states where any option is dangerous for their opponent.

Three grid sizes let you choose your depth. An 11×11 game is a sharp skirmish. A 19×19 is a full strategic campaign.

Learn the game
in five steps.

Everything you need to go from curious to competitive.

Step 01

The Board

The grid starts empty. Each player's Elixir begins in opposite corners. Your goal: connect your Elixir to a majority of cells before your opponent does.

Step 02

Taking a Turn

Each turn a roulette selects up to four candidate cells and directions. Tap to lock your cell, tap to lock your direction. Your cells are placed on the board.

Step 03

Normal Captures

If your move surrounds an opponent's group — cutting off all their open spaces — that group is captured and becomes yours. Larger groups fall the same way.

Step 04

Elixir Captures

When your chain connects to your starting Elixir, a flood-fill activates. Every cell reachable from your Elixir becomes yours. This is where big swings happen.

Step 05

Immortality

Cells connected to your Elixir become immortal — they can never be recaptured. Corner cells are immortal the moment they're claimed. Protect your chain.
